Domain Name Forums are a great place to Buy, Sell, Trade, and Talk about Domains
61Have you participated in Domain Forums?
More and more people are starting to realize that domain names can be a great investment. Some people buy domains for a quick flip, some for the long term investment, and others buy domain names to develop into money making websites. I have been personally interested in collecting, developing, and investing in domain names for about 8 years. I believe that there will always be some great opportunities for the educated domainer.
It is easy for anyone to get involved with the domain name world as it can take less than $10 to register a domain name at GoDaddy. There are also a lot of great places that people can buy, sell, and trade domains on the domain name aftermarket. One of the best ways that webmasters, domainers, domain collectors, and domain investors can learn about, buy, and sell domain names is by using a Domain Name Forum.
Domain forums can be a great tool for just about anyone that might be interested in the domain industry. Not only can you take part in general domain name related discussion, but you can also perform and request free domain name appraisals. Most domain name forums also have a free domain marketplace for their members to buy, sell, and trade domains with each other.
Joining a community that is dedicated to discussing domain names can be quite beneficial to help people learn and network with other individuals that are interested in domains. There are quite a few domain communities available and they all have their own spin. No matter which one you choose I recommend that you be sure to follow their rules and try to contribute something positive to the discussions. There is even one domain forum that I can think of that makes you pay a premium to participate in the domain discussions, which I feel is a bit too exclusive for those that are just getting started in the domain industry. There are also a lot of forums that cover a variety of topics that have a domain forum added.
I recently discovered a newer domain forum called DNers.com, that I think is worth mentioning. It is a very new domain name community that looks like it has a lot of potential and can use some help getting started. It has a general domain discussion area, a domain marketplace, and a free domain appraisal section.
It does not matter if you are a domain guru or a domain noobie, I highly recommend that you participate in a domain name forum community somewhere online. No matter what our experience, there is always something to learn and new opportunities to be had. By joining in these discussions we can not only learn, but help others and maybe even find a great deal on a domain name.
I hope that this hub was beneficial to some of you and good luck if you are involved in the domain name industry!
